Rag Quilt

Sorry for not posting in such a long time. I have been busy around the house and really had not been working on any significant craft project or card. The gardens tend to take up all the time - not complaining because I do love my gardens !

I did get back in the crafting groove in the last couple of weeks. Yay !! I had some cute flannel that I purchased on a trip to a friend's cottage last year. I decided to make a rag quilt with it - can never have too many rag quilts :-)

Here is a pic of it folded over the railing. The finished blocks are 5 inch square which make a nice block size. Of course my daughter has already claimed it as hers :-)

I've got the blocks cut out for another quilt, which I'm most excited to get working on- maybe later this evening.  I'll keep it a surprise until it's completed. 

Anyhow I'm off to get dinner ready (and quilt if it possible)
