Some kind of wonderful!

Good morning!

It's another cozy albeit snowy January day . I've been up for a bit, had breakfast and even cooked up an egg for my daughter before she heads out to baseball practice. Yes, you read that correctly.. baseball practice in January. They actually practice indoors on artificial turf which is very neat when you're surrounded by snow ! The kid is a diehard, what more can I say...okay I can also say that I'm very proud of her too :-)
While she's off at practice I can sit back, enjoy my cappuccino, post today's card, and do a little surfing of other sites as well. doesn't that sound delightful!

I bought a book "Blogging for Bliss" by Tara Frey. I enjoy posting my cards on my blog so I thought perhaps I could learn how to improve my writing, photos, all that kind of stuff so that when you pop in to visit you would truly enjoy experience. So over the next while I'll be incorporating some of the ideas and suggestions- by all means if you have any ideas please send them along too.
As my father once told me..
Good, better, best, never let it rest 'til your good is better and your better best!
that's the motto that I have applied to most things in my life and I've been very fortunate so I'll keep using it in everything I do.

Today's card is a masculine one which I was pleased with how it turned out. It's kinda cool when you sit down with nothing really coming to mind and a few minutes later voila it all comes together!
The image is a Close to My Heart stamp - Wonderful Friend, the cardstock is Bazzill green and the DP is from my stash. All the images the pocket watch, sentiment, and argyle pattern are from the same collection, which is fun when you are able to mix and match them. The matting under the sentiment was Stampin' Up's - Baja Breeze and the ink is Old Olive.

I hope you enjoy this card, and if you have any suggestions please send them along!

Have a peaceful day - life really is some kind of wonderful !!

Diane
