Crafting's good for the soul

You know when things just seem to be heavy on your heart, and your mind is sifting through its seemingly endless list of thoughts. There just doesn't seem to be anything that provides a sense of peace so that you can release what's on your mind. This week has been one of those times. I'm an absolute believer that things will work out as they should, it's just sometimes I'd like to skip through the "getting there" point. However, skipping it is not the option - my experience has taught me to work through it head on so you'll find whatever it is was you were meant to learn.

For me, the best way to work through it is to let myself spend time being creative, whether it's sewing, painting or card making. I know that when things become overwhelming, I'll always find the peace that leads me to what it is I need to do.

Last night I just couldn't fall to sleep, so instead of tossing around in bed I got up and spent time in my craft room. It was just what I needed and in the end I created some beautiful pages in my art journal, as well as some cards.  I thought I'd share the cards 'cause I love their clean & simple look.  (hmm no doubt there is a message there for me...)

The stamped images are all from Unity Stamp Company and the inks, paper, and embellies are all Stampin' Up.

I hope you enjoy these cards as much as I do...

.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hugs,
Diane
