The little teasing of snow flurries has me digging out my hat and mittens! I love snowflakes and when they first start falling I get that rush of excitement for Christmas. It's good to know I'm not the only in our family who feels this way. My daughter, who turns 17 this month informed me today she was so excited to see the snow that she ran outside to catch some on her tongue! I laughed because I could so see her doing that. Then to add to her excitement I reminded her that today was the start of her Advent countdown...yes even at her age she still has an Advent calendar filled with little treats. I must admit she has the happiest outlook on life - she really is a treasure ! Now if only I could get her to wear her hat and mittens...hmmm
Today's card uses another Stamping Bella beauty. The image was coloured with my Copics and cut out with Nesties. The card base is Stampin Up's Bordering Blue, and the matt is Bravo Burgandy- the edges have been distressed with the corresponding inks. The DP is Bo Bunny's - Midnight Frost snowfall which is absolutely gorgeous! I used pastels around the image to soften the edge and accented it with a glittery silver ribbon and little dew drops.
The Copics used were BG10,B52, and B000.
I love the simple elegance of this card.
