Flowers

Good morning!

I cannot believe it is already the end of summer holidays. The summer certainly flew by and I had so many more things that I had hoped to do outside, oh well I'll set them aside for next year. My D found some old windows at the farm (which she knew I was searching for) that I want to paint up to put in the garden. Maybe I'll work on them indoors so they'll be ready for spring... ok now that has me excited - I can just see it a pretty red or burgandy something warm yet bold set amongst all the pretty green grasses.

Sorry, got a little side tracked :-)

This is a pretty card I had made for my MIL and had just not posted. I thought I better put it up..perhaps I'm just trying to hang onto what is left of summer with this pretty bouquet .

I really enjoyed making this card, it has a vintage look to it which was a nice change for me.

The cardstock is Stampin'Up- Chocolate chip and and Bermuda Blue. The DP is from Basic Gray and of course my trusty Copics to colour it up. The edges were all distressed with chocolate chip , add a matching bow and some pretty pearls to finish it off.
