So here is another reason that I have not been posting over the past couple of weeks. We have a new addition to our family his name is J.D. short for John Deere. As I have mentioned before my daughter is a John Deere fanatic so am I surprised that she wanted to call her new pup John Deere - absolutely not!! Okay I admit I have always considered myself to be a cat lover however I will confess that this little fella has won my heart. He is so affectionate & loving he just wants to be wherever we are :-) Okay yes he has his little moments of rough housing and accidents and our cat really just wants the pup gone. J.D. wants to play and Chase (our cat) wants nothing to do with him and is very put out that the pup has taken over his pet bed even though JD has his own ! The best part is he lets Courtney dress him up in cute clothes- I'll post some photos another time of that.
The beauty is that JD is a mini Pug so he'll only get about 5-6 lbs which is ideal for our daughter since he really is her pup and will go away to college with her in the fall if she decides to go.
On another note it is my mother- in-laws' birthday today!. I have the world's greatest MIL, she is just like a mom to me forget the in law stuff with her! I did make a pretty card for her which I'll post tomorrow.
