Well it is another day to just kick back and enjoy the freshly fallen snow. Of course I have a few small errands on my list.. like get my snow tires put on the car..rather an important one. Then another important one is to head on out to Scrappin' Great Deals (the best stamping /scrapping store around. Sheila and her staff are just so sweet, heck they even know me by name...hmmm is that because I shop there too often??) then after that I think I'll just go hibernate in my craft room & be creative for the remainder of the day.
I am proud to say I pretty much have my shopping all finished, just a few little things left to get. I even started wrapping the gifts yesterday ! It is nice not to be in a last minute panic scrambling to get things done. My daughter loves to wraps gifts and I will say she does them with flair. I really think she should be a personal shopper and gift wrapper. She pulls things together that always come out looking so unique and special! The girl has talent!
Today's card is a simple yet elegant one.. The cardstock is Stampin' Up's glossy white, which I've again used the hunter green velveteen paper as a mat. The image is Stampin' Up's - Patterned Pines stamped with Handsome Hunter. I stamped the image on glossy white paper, then zig zag stitched it to a mat of Chocolate Chip. The addition of a brown ribbon and sentiment finish it off.
I really liked how this card turned out.
Hope you enjoy it too and for anyone of you heading out to the stores today...happy shopping!
Diane
