I absolutely love this card!. My wonderful mother -in-law (mil) has a dear friend who was recently diagnosed with cancer. There are no words that can express the sadness that you experience when someone you've known for years shares this information with you. Even harder yet can be finding the right thing to say or do for them. I've always been a believer in sending along a card or little note just to let them know you are thinking of them. I made one for my mil to send when she first found out and I've done another for her to send as her friend continues along her journey. Inside the card the sentiment reads " It takes a long time to grow a friend like you"
Today's card used the following stamps High Hope's- Aunt Marge's Garden, the sentiment on the inside is from Stampin' Up. The card was done on Bazzil- Gold cardstock and the edge was accented with a Martha Stewart punch and then distressed with Stampin' Up's- More Mustard ink. Three little green buttons finish it off.
The Copic colours used were BV000,V17, G82, YG63, YG25, YG03,E15, E74, E27, Y35, Y38, B18,B45, C1, and C4
