Happy Sunday!

I realized I hadn't done a post in a week! What's with that??... LIFE. It just seemed to be a weird week and before I knew it it was gone. Well anyhow I was busy working on some cards so I did have some creative time in between all the other stuff. A few weeks back my sister in law and I stopped by a scrapping store and in the clearance bin I found some beautiful mustard coloured brads. Well those brads proved to be the inspiration for the cards above. As much as I love to use my Copics I also enjoy creating cards that don't require colouring. The above cards were all completed with inspirational phrases and of course those brads that I love so much. I made a set of four all using Bazzil papers in mustard yellow and a deep blue. The DP is from Stella Rose and I just Love it!! I stitched up the edges, used a few punches, and voila a nicely coordinated set of cards.
I've had a quiet and peaceful weekend making cards and reading - gotta just love it :-) The only thing better was this morning when my daughter and her friends were around for breakfast. I made them some pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola as well as a peach and butter pecan crumble and of course coffee & juice. I just love it when they all crash here 'cause I get to fuss over them :-)

Have a great day and an even better week!

Diane
